Nisan studied computer science through his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. at Hebrew University in Jerusalem before co-founding United Technologies Corporation. Under his leadership, the company has expanded to 11 content creation apps, four global offices, and about 30 employees. An expert in photo image optimization, he has published peer-reviewed research and frequently writes on tech, start-ups, the creator economy, and computer imaging. Outside of work, Nisan enjoys discovering new sushi and oyster spots and practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Passionate about programming from a young age, Gilad served five years as a researcher and developer in the IDF’s 8200 intelligence unit before earning degrees in computer engineering and computer science at Hebrew University. While pursuing his doctorate, he founded United Technologies Corporation, where he now serves as CTO, leading a team of 20+ developers and researchers. A true foodie, Gilad enjoys cooking, exploring great restaurants, and living in Jerusalem with his wife and children.
